Welcome! I’m Britt Echtenkamp for Intuitus Group, PLLC. I am licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services as a Licensed Professional Counselor. I provide individual counseling for children and teens ages 3 to 21. I also provide individual counseling for women struggling with postpartum depression and anxiety disorders. My services are confidential and tailored to each individual client.
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas A&M University, and my Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Texas State University. I have experience working with several agencies, including a grief counseling center, a state mental hospital, and a county substance-abuse treatment center. Additionally, I served as a counselor for the Diocese of Austin from 2011 through the summer of 2015.
Along with my schooling, I have received special training in Cognitive Behavioral Play Therapy (CBPT), Child Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), Sandtray Therapy, and Perinatal Mood Disorders.
I enjoy working with clients from all walks of life. I also specialize in working with clients in these areas:
- Anxiety Disorders, including obsessive-compulsive disorder, generalized anxiety, panic attacks, and social anxiety
- Autism Spectrum Disorders
- Trauma, major life transitions and grief
With adult clients, I specialize in these areas:
- Parenting support
- Child development training
- Postpartum depression and anxiety
Additionally, I provide presentations to schools and groups on the topics of Anxiety in Children, Bullying Prevention, Prevention of Vicarious Trauma and Burnout, and Grief.

- Fees & Scheduling
Fees & Scheduling
I provide 50-minute sessions on a weekly or biweekly basis, depending on client need. Appointments are scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays 5 p.m., 6 p.m., 7 p.m., and 8 p.m.
Payment is received at the end of each session, and can be paid by cash, check or credit card.
Initial Session Fee: $110
Subsequent 50-minute Session Fee: $90
90-Minute Session Fee: $135
Insurance: I currently accept Blue Cross and Blue Shield

- Client Forms
Upon scheduling your initial appointment, I will email you all required paperwork. You may either bring the completed paperwork to your first session, or arrive 15 minutes early to complete the paperwork in the waiting room.
