Hello! I’m Jennifer Madere with Intuitus Group Independent Professionals, and I’m glad you have decided to learn more about how I may be helpful to you or someone close to you. I offer individual counseling for children ages 9 and up, adolescents, and adults.
Whether you have “hit a wall” in life and need help moving onward, want to be free of past disturbing life experiences, or are seeking to have a healthier lifestyle or relationship in the future, counseling can help in your journey. Areas in which I am most experienced include:
EMDR therapy is an effective, evidence-based method for helping our brain digest or move past obstacles interfering with our functioning, relationships, or future goals. For example, if you experienced a stressful or disturbing event in the past, addressing that issue with EMDR will help your brain to digest the memory and associated material. Once the past material is digested/desensitized, people find it much easier to stay fully in the present, and report they are free from feelings or beliefs about themselves previously associated with the past event(s). For more information, visit this page.
In addition to the areas listed above, I have specialized training in ego state therapy, DBR (Deep Brain Reorienting), and other models used to treat persons who experience complex trauma, attachment trauma, and dissociative disorders. I am in training to treat trauma-related sex addiction (CSAT-Candidate) with the International Institutes for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP).

I do not accept or bill insurance. If you wish to submit receipts to insurance for reimbursement according to your benefits, I will provide the appropriate documentation to allow you to do so.
Prospective clients may register in my secure portal to schedule a phone call to discuss your needs in therapy. This portal will also allow you to send secure messages to me directly – please do not send extensive personal information via email.
