I earned my B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy from Texas A&M University. I graduated from Divine Mercy University with my Masters in Clinical Mental Health, with a focus in Trauma Studies, and am supervised by Jennifer Madere, MA, LPC-S. I have a background working in ministry and education settings with kids, adolescents, and adults.
I have taken and continue to pursue specific training in trauma-informed practice.
It is no secret that life is challenging, but we are not meant to navigate these trials by ourselves. I understand that life’s traumas can be disillusioning and, at times, even feel fracturing. During such distressing moments, the decisions we make may have a significant impact on us. In light of this, it is important to reach out and receive the appropriate support we need. If you would like to pursue counseling, I invite you to call or email me with any questions to help you decide if I am the best fit for you or your loved one.
I provide counseling for children (6 years and older), adolescents, and their families, as well as individual counseling to adults.

I believe the person is composed of many facets that contribute to who we are – we are emotional, rational, spiritual, physical, and relational beings with callings to work, service, and leisure. When one aspect of our personhood is off and experiencing deep hurt, it can affect the other areas of our humanity and inhibit us. I incorporate psychodynamic frameworks while utilizing cognitive behavioral therapies as well as emotion-focused techniques into a holistic approach to journeying with you towards a flourishing life with healthy coping skills and a deeper experience of everyday freedom. I am an EMDR trained therapist who incorporates IFS techniques while utilizing attachment theory.
